April – Puccini Classic Cycle Race
A bike ride through the lands of Giacomo Puccini to visit the places dear to the Maestro, pedaling together, adults and children, from his birthplace in Lucca to the villa on Lake Massaciuccoli.
April – Granfondo Puccini City of Lucca
The second edition of the Granfondo Puccini Città di Lucca, a cycling event dedicated to the great composer Giacomo Puccini, is a must-see for all cycling enthusiasts, offering the opportunity to ride through the wonderful landscapes of the Lucca area.
May 1, 2026 – May 1st Padulata
Through the Porcari Marshes, a ride for everyone that traverses the reclaimed landscapes of the Lucca plain, passing rural buildings and cultivated fields, and crossing flower-filled canals populated by aquatic fauna.
August – The Vinaria
For those who want to combine passion, fun, nature, and scenery for a ride with friends and good food. The Vinaria is open to all; racing bikes built before 1987 are welcome. It offers two routes: "Il Divino," a 43-kilometer route for cyclists who want to enjoy the scenery and excellent refreshments, and "L'Intrepido," a 78-kilometer route for adventurous riders.
October – Puccini Gravel
From Viareggio, we head inland and return through the Massaciuccoli Lake Nature Reserve, over the Tuscan hills, and then along the Serchio River through the pristine natural landscape of San Rossore Park, returning to Viareggio along the coast with sea views. An unforgettable gravel cycling experience in one of the most beautiful and evocative corners of Tuscany.
