Porta San Donato in the walls of Lucca, behind the canopy of a plane tree. The gate has a central entrance, two large windows at the top flanked by statues of San Paolino and San Donato, and a tympanum.

The walls of Lucca welcome the talents of the Boccherini Conservatory for the "Young Performers' Festival."

For the first time, the "Young Performers' Festival"—the Conservatory's end-of-year recitals—will take place on the Walls of Lucca, uniting two of the most distinctive and representative elements of Lucca's culture: the Walls and Music.

From May 18th to June 14th, in the spaces of the San Pietro barracks and in the open areas of the city's green ring.

The musical events will be an opportunity to experience the Mura urban park in a new, welcoming, and open guise, enriching walks along the tree-lined ring with high-quality musical performances.

The Conservatory students will perform in a setting of extraordinary historical and scenic charm, in programs ranging from classical music to pop repertoire.
