Elisa Bonaparte Baciocchi, in the short period she lived in Lucca, worked hard to make the city and the countryside worthy of a principality.
The urbanistic innovations of the historic center of Lucca are accompanied by the renovation of her small palace of Marlia, the Villa Reale, which she enriched with statues, fountains and numerous exotic plants of great fashion at the time.
The guided tour presents this oasis of light and beauty, color and harmony in an exclusive journey by expert licensed guides. A botanical, historical and architectural path that was the scene of many events linked to great historical figures.
The tours are organised in Italian and English every Saturday from May 7 to October 29, 2022.
The guided tour starts at 3:00 pm at the ticket office of Villa Reale. The duration is about an hour and a half. Cost € 15.00 (admission + guided tour) free for children up to 14 years
