Puccini and his Lucca is “the only permanent festival in the world” dedicated to Puccini.
Special events are planned on selected dates with lyric-symphonic galas with orchestra and choir.
Recitals, opera selections, special concerts all year round, every day of the year in the most fascinating Basilica in the centre of Lucca, Santi Giovanni e Reparata, all at the same time and all held by renowned national and international singers and pianists.

Run 5km together in parks and open spaces around the world.
Lucca is also taking part in this global race with a race in its most beautiful park, the Walls of Lucca!
5 km timed, along tree-lined avenues which correspond to just over one lap of the entire city walls (4,2 km).
Participation is open to everyone, whether walking with a stroller or dog, running, volunteering, or simply watching.
You can discover yourselves as athletes alongside other enthusiasts and increase your health and happiness in the beautiful surroundings of the Walls of Lucca, making new friends, feeling part of your local community, and improving your physical fitness.

Opening of the church of San Francesco.
The church is part of the Convent Complex of San Francesco, which can always be visited free of charge on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays with continuous opening hours from 10:00 to 19:00.

The shuttle that takes you from the center of Lucca to visit the Lucca Plain on a journey through nature, culture, and flavor.
Activities for all ages and levels of ability, the shuttle will take you to discover quiet villages, historic villas, pristine landscapes, authentic flavors, and ancient stories.
The 'Capannori Shuttle' calendar of experiences is rich and varied, with proposals that combine culture, nature, taste and sustainability (accessible trips and vehicles are planned where indicated (A) or partially accessible where indicated (1/2A)).
