Four Women is a conversation about Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, Alice Walker and Nina Simone and their way of making art. From 29 August to 5 September at the cloister of the Agorà Library, exhibition of paintings and conversation between the painter Chiara Cinelli, the jazz musician Michela Lombardi and the university professor of English literature Roberta Ferrari.

Four portraits of artists, tales of inspired women who participate in the production of art and gender consciousness through a conversation between different art forms: literature with the texts and biographies of the three writers Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, Alice Walker, music by Nina Simone, painting with the portraits of the four artists.

The event is included in the Settembre lucchese 2021 program.
