Estate Davvero: a warm welcome to summer with this event that brings us all together, in an atmosphere combining awareness of restrictions, fun and entertainment. The name of the event chosen by the Luccasenza Barriere association stands for "Summer for real" and animates the Real Collegio cloister on Sunday 20 June at 9:30 pm.

 

Art Beat. The exhibition of the South Tyrolean artist Aron Demetz opens on Friday 11 June in the San Cristoforo church in via Fillungo. The sculptor is present at the vernissage at 5:30 pm to inaugurate an installation and seven sculptures on display. The exhibition can be visited for free until July 11.

 

A new edition of summer theater performances at the Real Collegio, organized by the art collective and cultural association Spazio Lum. On Sunday 18 July at 7:30 pm a stand up comedy by the Gruppo Erpes will be staged in the Santa Caterina cloister.

7th Edition of the Borda!Fest. The counter-cultural festival that grew together with Lucca Comics and games is back in an extraordinary summer edition.
The Xtraborda version outside the Foro Boario from 18 to 20 June, replaces the seventh edition canceled due to the Covid 19 pandemic.
Meetings, concerts, fanzines, comics, screen printing, independent publishing, music and performances with over 150 national and international exhibitors with projects and ideas that support self-production.

The artist, photographer, writer and teacher of art subjects, has been developing research for over 20 years, linked to nature and its functions as the “Zeitgeist seismograph”.

On display the aspects of nature captured in the relationship with the human dimension, and the - very often traumatic - consequent impact. A photographic story where human dimension is located in an Arcadian context, where you can meet life or death.

 

New concert series of the Il Baluardo choir. Appointment for Sunday 20 June at 6:00 pm in Piazzetta Mansi in Lucca, next to the Santa Maria Nera Church .
The concert is part of the Music Festival organized by the European Union and sponsored by the Italian Ministry of Culture.
