In the shadow of the city wall of Lucca, the 1st edition of the contemporary culture festival Lontani cosi Vicini Lucca Fest. A festival under the stars, on the Walls of Lucca, to reflect on contemporary issues and update memory. There will be important Italian guests , beautiful and unknown stories, all-round reflections on current events and music, contemporaneity and memory.
Eight events that cross Italian and International history with the commitment and testimony of people giving dignity to stories every day to tell the history.

In the program on Friday 4th September

5.30 pm - Agorà Civic Library - Lucca | Conversation on the bestseller by Guglielmo Petroni "Il mondo è una prigione" by Luciano Luciani.

9.00 pm - Lawn behind the former Cavallerizza building in Piazzale Verdi - Lucca | "Ultime lettere". Reading-theater performance on the last letters of the Italian Resistance sentenced to death with the actresses Giulia Perelli, Cristina Puccinelli and Giulia Lippi and the actors Alberto Paradossi and Nicola Fanucchi. Following the actor Marco Brinzi, accompanied by the music of Luca Giovacchini, with the stage reading "“Il mondo è una prigione”.
