VerdeMura, the exhibition of gardening and outdoor living, returns with its 12th edition on Friday 5, Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 April 2019.

Confirmed the new location with new larger and more functional spaces on the Santa Croce bulwark, on the rampart and on the Porta San Donato.
Over 200 Italian and foreign exhibitors: plant nurseries and horticultural species, shrubs, bulbs, tools and furnishings for the garden and vegetable garden, excellent artisan and food products, in the unique setting of the Lucca City Walls, one of the public parks oldest and most evocative of Europe.

Some appointments are scheduled, such as the presentation of the green book novelties and the laboratories dedicated to children and great space for seasonal purchases for gardens, vegetable gardens, city balconies, with some forays into fresh and new details for the home and the country kitchen.
From Bolsena the newest hydrangeas will be on display, seen last year at the Chelsea Flower Show in London. From Florence will come the exotic vegetable plants and above all hundreds of varieties of tomatoes, annual flowers and rare and unusual vines.
From the Brianza a collection of primroses never seen, with double flowers, striped, in particular colors.
The Lucchesia and the Pistoiese on the other hand, as always, will do the honors this year, especially with the camellias with the new yellow flower hybrids tested and cultivated by the nursery Massimiliano Giusti of Montecarlo (LU).
Really special flowers: if it weren't for the shiny and leathery leaves typical of camellias, you could believe that these are magnificent tea roses! Visitors to the twelfth edition of VerdeMura will be able to see them and buy them for the first time in Italy.
