A trip to the Museum
A unique chess horse of the 11th century of carved bone, royal clothes of bygone times, a dream journey into Metaphysics.
Sometimes it’s not necessary to travel and discover fantastic stories by moving far away … just be curious!
The city museums are travel opportunities at your fingertips at any time of the year and offer ideas for real, more important trips, to be, hopefully, organized again as soon as possible.
In the next few days (from Monday to Friday as established by the National decree of January 14, 2021) the National Museums of Lucca, Villa Gunigi and Palazzo Mansi will be open again, and these residences, in different eras, belonged to two of the most important merchant families of the Renaissance period and of the eighteenth century, but also the Lu.CCA Center of Contemporary Art where you can participate at guided tours of the exhibition for individuals and families on Fridays.
During the winter, the collaborators of the Museums delighted us with stories of their favorite works. You can view them again here and here the meetings at the Lu.C.C.A. waiting for the upcoming visit.
