CarnevalMarlia is back in full swing. Six giant "papier-mâché" floats on which all the children can climb, will fill for five Sundays the Piazza del Mercato and part of Via Paolinelli in Marlia with joy, colours and music.

The Marillone float - the clown symbol of the event - opens the parade with an animator to let the children play. There are also those of the districts Ponticello - Selvette, La Fraga, San Donnino, Santa Caterina and the smaller cart of the schools "Don Aldo Mei" of the Plain of Lucca.

Every Sunday various masquerades of local groups will accompany the floats.

Sunday, February 2nd
2:30 pm - Piazza del Mercato / Via Paolinelli - Marlia | 1st masked parade, with parade of floats, masquerades.
Presents Adele - Musical animation with "Adele Group".
Animation for children with baby makeup, balloon sculptures and giant soap bubbles with Galaxy Animation
Bubble Wizard with 2 dinosaurs "Carnosaur cubs" that will walk among the people and will be ridden by taming riders
Participation of "Filarmonica G. Puccini di Colle di Compito"
Presence of the masquerade of Don Aldo Mei Schools - Gifts for the children
food stands and charity fair.
