A coffee with Puccini
At the Antico Caffè Di Simo on the centenary of Giacomo Puccini's death.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday until May 26, with a rich cultural programme centred on the figure of the Maestro, two exhibitions, book presentations, concerts and recitals, and dance with the contribution of the National Committee for Puccini Celebrations.
From April 12 to 14, the Café premises will host an exhibition dedicated to Giovanni Pascoli.
Among the various events, there will be some letters sent by Giacomo Puccini to Alfredo Caselli, the owner of the Caffè, a docufilm dedicated to the Maestro, but above all a lot of music, with concerts that will retrace part of the Maestro's vast production.
Each event lasts about an hour and can accommodate a maximum of 40 people. Participation is free of charge upon reservation at the Ticket Office of Teatro del Giglio.
