The 14th edition of Il Desco 2018 returns to Lucca on November 30th, 1st, 2nd December / 7th, 8th and 9th December 2018, a table full of flavors and knowledge, a showcase of typical products of the highest quality: a real itinerary of Italian taste included in the calendar of events 2018 Year of Italian food.
The 2018 edition is presented with a new look renewed in the sign of quality: doubled the exhibition area, excellent food production from all over the country and BIO production.
Mine is not only a market exhibition, it is not only food, but also entertainment, culture and entertainment, thanks to the calendar full of events for the promotion and dissemination of food and table culture, such as showcooking, sensory laboratories of taste, workshops for children, conferences, tastings, mini-courses, aperitifs with the participation of guests and public figures, who have always received a strong appreciation from the public, also bringing new people to the event. This year the realities of the territory have been involved such as museums, associations, event organizers, who have the possibility to propose an event to be included in the event calendar.
Esco dal Desco
And then two steps away from the Real College: Esco dal Desco links the event to the territory through the calendar of events, exhibitions, workshops, conferences and many other opportunities that the territory offers in November / December all those interested for the occasion to organize a nice week in Lucca.
The focus is on the environment, at the event will be a showcase for the world of eco-compatible production of equipment and ecological products, such as tablecloths, napkins, dishes, glasses, cutlery, etc. made with biodegradable and compostable materials. The experience of eating is a moment of pleasant satisfaction, more and more respecting the salvation of the planet.
In conjunction with Il Desco, Lucca Promos, a participated company for the promotion and internationalization of the Chamber of Commerce of Lucca, organizes a press trip. Enogastronomic and cultural experiences will be attended by 10 journalists from various European countries. "The territories of Giacomo Puccini", and savor and experience the excellent food and wine present at Il Desco. The tour will also touch the most evocative places related to the Maestro Puccini, starting from the historic center of Lucca and the visit of the Casa Puccini Museum and then continue in MediaValle and Lucchesi hills to discover the artisan food processing and tasting of local products.
