The short film by the director from Lucca, Cristina Puccinelli, is titled "Far East", which tells the story of a grumpy old man who loses his Ukrainian caregiver because of his selfishness. Feeling alone, his desperation will push him to a long journey, looking for affection. A journey in the evolution of families: many are no longer together because of poverty, the elderly are often alone and find new families who come from afar. The silence at that point is replaced by loud sounds of mixed families. What is the family today? What do we tolerate and what are we forced to tolerate?

Since 2018 the short has played a part in over 14 festivals, winning numerous awards.

Present at the presentation will be the director and performers, Pamela Villoresi, Marcello Marziali, Michele Crestacci, sara Billi and Duccio Arrighi. An aperitif will follow.
