15th edition of Lucca Jazz Donna, a festival dedicated to female jazz talents.7 dates of great jazz with free admission, with the possibility of giving a contribution to the solidarity associations that are partners of the initiative, on the stages of Lucca and Capannori.

But also concerts, meetings, jam sessions, a masterclass with Cettina Donato, an exhibition and the partnership with Lu.C.C.A. Museum, the Lucca Jazz Donna side events.

During the concerts, in the theaters venues, the traveling exhibition "Le donne nell'.. immaginario svelato" ("Women in the unveiled imaginary") will be open to the public, by the Cooperative Social La Mano Amica of Lucca.

These are paintings born of a different art, an outsider art, made by artists who are perhaps unaware and therefore even more fascinating. They are the works of people with mental disabilities who attend the services of the social cooperative. Paintings tell the inner world of people with mental problems who have had the opportunity to express themselves in figurative art laboratories, in day centers and in the residences of Lucca and Versilia. The works have been selected by Nadia Buonamici and Giuliana Batignani, both art-therapists of the cooperative. The exhibition is made up of portraits, collages, abstract figures that give back to the viewer a new world to be discovered, from which suffering and purity shines through.
