The exhibition "L'arte sull'schermo" is part of the line of research traced by Carlo Ludovico Ragghianti, one of the first to believe in the potential of the language of cinema as a tool for both critical, art education and training of the public.

5:30 pm - Conference room "Vincenzo da Massa Carrara" | Getty's: the world's richest art dinasty, by David Shuman.
Proposed, for the first time with Italian subtitles (made especially for the occasion), the documentary Gettys: The world's richest art dynasty, by director David Shulman (2018, 74 minutes). Produced by BBC Studios, through unpublished archive material the film analyses the strong cultural impact of three generations of the Getty family, from the founder, Jean Paul Getty, oilman, philanthropist and great art collector, to the two descendants: Gordon, composer, and Mark, founder of the Getty Images media empire, who tell the story of this real "dynasty".
The vision of the documentary will be introduced by Maria Flora Giubilei, art historian, member of the Scientific Committee of the Ragghianti Foundation.
