The underground of the city walls of San Regolo, San Colombano, Santa Croce and San Martino are the suggestive locations selected to be the setting for Lucca Fashion Week(end).
One location for three different spaces
Catwalk: a space where the labels will present their collections with real fashion shows, with free admission upon personal invitation.
Backstage: a space dedicated to the preparation of the models, which today has become a parallel stage, as much important as the catwalk.
Food&beverage space: this last section will be used in the pre and post fashion show, a space where guests can enjoy an aperitif offered
from local producers by "The wine and olive oil road of Montecarlo, the Lucca hills and Versilia" which brings together the producers of olive oil and wine from Lucca.
But above all, the atmospheres of a city alive through the centuries.
The underground passages of the Walls of Lucca, restored and made accessible only in recent decades, are used today as connecting spaces between the inside and the outside of the city, but they also provide an opportunity to get to know and admire the Renaissance space of the largest defensive structure in Europe. The subterranean galleries with their great stone vaults, the salons, the squares of love. Functional and elegant architecture. Today a living memory of the past of a European city and its history.
