The City of Lucca invites everyone to the party in Piazza Santa Maria,

at the foot of the city walls, in collaboration with RadioItalia.

Lucca Philharmonic Orchestra

conducted by Maestro Andrea Colombini plays at at the Teatro del Giglio in Lucca from 22:00 to 1:00 in the concert show with the participation of the soloists of the Puccini and his Lucca International Festival and in Italian exclusivity 21 elements of the Band of Bagpipes, Drums and Hilands Dancers of the 1st Battalion Scots Guards of Buckingam Palace.

 

A toast will be offered at the stroke of midnight.

January 1st, double New Year's concert at the Teatro del Giglio

one of the most eagerly awaited and beloved appointments in the programme of the Teatro del Giglio Giacomo Puccini, a now unmissable moment in the Lucca theatre calendar to welcome the new year in music. For the 2025 edition, scheduled for Wednesday 1 January at 5 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., Maestro Filippo Conti will be on the podium of the Teatro Goldoni Orchestra of Livorno.

Music by Rossini, Verdi, Giordano, Mascagni, Puccini.
