A new exhibition, entirely dedicated to paper at the Porcari Glass Palace. It is entitled La carta, a story to the future and will be able to count on an amazing setting by the architect Claudio Cammarata, which will frame 60 images taken by the shooting Friends.

Portraits that take the steps of the historical production route from straw paper in the ancient paper mills scattered throughout the provinces of Lucca and Pistoia to finally reach the current production of tissue paper and corrugated cardboard that make our district the paper hub. largest in Europe.

The history of the industry of our territory, daughter of a tradition that reaches to the present day, and that, reworked in every age in an increasingly innovative way, looks at that future that today is surprising reality. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalog, the result of a unanimous collaboration with exponents of the name of industry, culture and institutions that have always been protagonists, work and study the history of the paper industry.

An exceptional guest at Saturday's ribbon cutting, Caterina Crepax, an artist who sculpts sumptuous dresses with original details using paper materials. For the occasion he will bring some of his beautiful creations specially made with tissue paper, which will be on show during the inauguration.
