A concert on the beach
On Sunday 15th August music will welcome morning light in Forte dei Marmi. The Concert at Dawn is set at 6:00, on the pier. The Tuscan Youth Orchestra has been called to play the notes at sunrise this year and will perform a repertoire that will include the most famous pieces of classical and opera music, from Mozart to Bach, Verdi, Mascagni, Offenbach, Bizet. At the end of the event, a single-serving breakfast for all participants with the support of Forte dei Marmi's fishermen.
In the hills, pizza and poetry
on the occasion of the night of the shooting stars, on Tuesday 10 August "Tramonti e calici: pizza e poesia sotto le stelle", an excursion to Campo Romano where Diego's delicious pizzas await the participants! After you can enjoy poems under the starry sky in hopes of seeing some shooting stars.

In the mountains under a sky full of stars
In the San Lorenzo night you can also gaze at the stars at Lake Scaffaiolo, which, with 1785 m, is the highest natural basin in the Apennine mountains.
Along the shores of the lake, contemplating the celestial vault and telling the legends of these places, you reach the step of the Arcane Cross for a short contemplative stop immersed in the light of the stars.

Nose up on the lake
On the nights of August 10, 11 and 12, the parco delle stelle event on the shores of Lake Massaciuccoli. The association Astroversilia leads a twilight night excursion to discover the Natural Reserve, dedicated to the observation of the celestial vault and the discovery of the nocturnal landscape: the sounds, the silence, the darkness, to reach the exotic garden of Villa Ginori, in the locality of La Piaggetta.
Return to the Port of Massaciuccoli by boat under the stars.

in the park of the villa
After the success of the daytime edition in June, Le Rinascenze in the night version is organised again in the splendid setting of Villa Reale in Marlia.
On Monday 9 and Tuesday 10 August many artists, shows, events, painting and sculpture exhibitions combined with music and entertainment for young and old, from 6:00 pm to 12:00 am. This time art, in all its expressions, will be on stage under the stars, even in the night of desires.
The darkness of the night will allow you to appreciate many shades of light and colors, electrifying the enchanting atmosphere of the Villa's park with great scenic performances and many artists.

Lucca Biennale-Cartasia is not just an exhibition. After the official opening of the indoor exhibition and the installation of monumental statues in the squares of the city, many collateral initiatives to get to know the works more closely with artistic performances, guided tours and workshops designed for adults and children. On 10 August at 5.30 pm at 7.00 pm at Casermetta S. Paolino, a workshop for children aged nine and older dedicated to In Between, the "suspended" work created by Papier Atelier - Turker Arman exhibited in Piazza della Cittadella.
On Saturday 14 August from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm children (aged 6 and up) will be guided by the Recuperarti staff, to reuse industrial waste material recycled to new life through a cultural, artistic and educational process. Together, they will go to the discovery and in search of inspiration with "Hoodie", the boy of the most famous sweatshirt in the world, made by Michael Stutz.
At 6:00 pm, for everyone, artistic performance by Davide Francesca, La sposa in carta, inspired by the Japanese Butoh dance, based on the slowness of the movements. Francesca will create a paper dress in the workshop housed in the former Cavallerizza building, which she will wear on Saturday to walk around the city, establishing a relationship with the public she will meet on her journey.

This year Lucca Classica Musica festival will offer great music in fantastic places: on 10 July at 9.15 pm at the Boccherini Auditorium, important anniversaries are celebrated: Ludwig van Beethoven 250 + 1. Second evening of the complete performance of Ludwig van Beethoven's works for cello and piano with Silvia Chiesa on the cello and Maurizio Baglini on the piano.
on Saturday 14 at 4:30 pm, 200 years on 10 strings is a concert in the gardens of Villa Reale in Marlia with Antigoni Goni, guitar and Amy Norrington, cello, in a concert with music by L. Boccherini, F. Schubert, M. De Falla , A. Piazzolla. At 9.15 pm the festival moves to the Gothic Cloister of S. Caterina, at the Real Collegio, for the Pieve a Elici concerts with Laura Llozi, violin and Leonardo Bartelloni, piano, playing music by J. Brahms, N. Paganini, M. Ravel.
For the Ferragosto day at 4.30 pm in the gardens of Villa Reale in Marlia the anniversary of Camille de Saint-Saëns is celebrated with a concert entirely dedicated to the music of this author, curated by Filippo Rogai, flute; Remo Pieri, clarinet; Fabrizio Datteri, piano.
On the weekend of 14/15 August, also a special invitation to the Puccini house, at 12:00 pm for a guided tour and at Villa Puccini for four guided tours at 3:00 pm, 4:00 pm, 5:00 pm, 6:00 pm.
