Viareggio, the capital of the Italian Carnival, is the venue for the great Masked Floats 2020 on the Viali a mare. Throughout the month of February, the city turns into a factory of fun with parades of papier-mâché giants, night parties, fireworks, vigils, theatrical reviews, gastronomic events and major world sporting events.

Six Masked Courses of the Carnival of Viareggio scheduled from 1 to 25 February accompanied as tradition by the popular local festivals and big vigils in the trendy clubs of Viareggio, in the evening.

14:00 - Rione Vecchia Viareggio, Piazza Santa Maria - Afternoon party for children

17:00 - 4th Masked Course. The gigantic papier-mâché floats parade along the seaside boulevard.

20:00 - Masked Course. Night edition. The gigantic papier-mâché floats parade along the seaside boulevard.

Friday 21st, Saturday 22nd, Sunday 23rd, Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th February
19:00 - Carnevaldarsena - Party of dancing, music and cooking in the streets of the district.

15:00 - Rione Darsena - Carneval Polpettino Afternoon party for children.
