THE CHRISTMAS FACTORY
The new Christmas factory opens on December 8, in the former Comics Museum and the auditorium in Piazza San Romano. An entire month of events dedicated to music, theatre, reading, workshops, games and entertainment for adults and children.
From 8 December, from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm, the former Comics Museum and the Auditorium will host activities aimed at children, with theater performances, puppets, music, games with soap bubbles, cooking and painting workshops, readings , dice games, all based on the Christmas theme.
There will also be solidarity initiatives, with Elfi per un giorno, where the little ones can bring their gifts to be distributed to family homes and local charities, and the Jamerry Christmas Concert, in favor of Unicef, with choral interventions and the choreography by young male and female dancers.
On some days, parents can also leave their children (starting from 5 years of age) at the Theater's Babysitting service: children will have fun with animated readings, theatrical games, Christmas-themed art workshops, while they can go for Christmas shopping.
Also for the older ones some music events are scheduled, such as the Aperitif in Jazz in Lucca. Finally, in January, the Befana witch will arrive: with the popular committee of Piazza San Francesco on January 5, and on the 6th she will arrive from Aquilea.
The Tenuta Mariani di Massarosa, the Pasticceria Le Bontà di Lucca and Cremeria Opera di Lucca will always be present at the Christmas factory with typical and delicious products, from snacks to aperitifs. It will also be possible to meet Santa Claus every afternoon in his magical room, curated by the Don Franco Baroni association. Finally, two exhibitions will be open to visitors at the Ex Comics Museum: one dedicated to transportable nativity scenes, curated by the choir 'Il Baluardo", in collaboration with the community of Santa Maria Corteorlandini, the Cori della Toscana association and the Lucca Balestrieri company; a photographic exhibition will be dedicated to Christmas in Lucca, curated by Foto Alcide.
