From June 29th to August 4th The Night of Archeology, is a very  intresting appointment with extraordinary evening and night openings, events faced in the museums, areas and archaeological parks of Tuscany.

The nineteenth edition was the leitmotif of "Art and technology", a theme that enhances the aesthetic and artistic components of the collections and in general of the cultural heritage from prehistory to the present, with a careful look at both the techniques for the realization of artistic artefacts and the technology available from the most remote times, in continuous evolution.

In the year of the Celebrations for the five hundredth anniversary of the death of Leonardo da Vinci, the theme reinforces the vocations that I have been in the work of Leonardo, a continuator and promoter of a marriage between art and technology that from the farthest past reaches today.

The rich program is designed for every day.

09:00 am - Porcari Municipal Library. Meeting and departure for the Fossa Nera archaeological excavations (with own car).
The course, which lasts two hours, is partially accessible to the disabled person. It is necessary to follow a dirt path in the fields.
