Along the Francigena route, stories on the road

The Via Francigena, history, culture and nature on the Lucca part of the route will be the protagonist of a podcast in Italian language.

Scholars and experts, but also those who live and "inhabit" the Via Francigena recount the characteristics of its landscape, nature, places and historical symbols, traditions and typical products that a pilgrim can encounter along the Lucca stretch of the route.

Five episodes from Sunday 16 January to 13 February to be listened to at home or ... on the road.

A year ending with art and culture

Lucca is a city full of art, ideas, encounters and long-standing traditions. Don't miss the date with art, music, poetry and literature in these Christmas holidays.
December is the right time to rediscover the old town center, take a break and enjoy everything the city has to offer in this important time of year.

Sculptures in the city

A marble giant supporting the bell tower of the San Michele church and a large family made of terracotta, wood and concrete characters in the Agora' cloister are the protagonists of two contemporary sculpture exhibitions set up in these days in Lucca. A great opportunity to visit two places, one quite famous, the other more secret, where these characters and their stories come to life.
