A cycle tour to discover the medieval castles of the Tuscan and Lucca countryside.

A ring tour in the Lucca countryside, easy and fascinating along the nature trail on the banks of the Serchio river, recalling the legends of the villages and the typical Tuscan fights between Pisa and Lucca.

The two castles face each other at the Ripafratta strait that can be reached easily pedaling inside the river park. The Castle of Nozzano, enclosed by its small but solid walls and the Castle of Ripafratta on the other side of the river, surrounded by the imposing towers built in the surrounding hills where legends and stories of ancient times are still alive.
