We will take you to discover the small but precious treasures of the Romanesque Art, nature and landscapes of Lucca's hills.
5 hikes along the paths of the minor Romanesque historical artistic heritage, discovering monasteries, parishes and hermitages of the hills.

Every Sunday morning a walk with a nature guide to learn about and experience the beauty of these places teeming with history, art and traditions.

Sunday 5th of November - Anello di Nozzano (Nozzano's ring) POSPONED TO DECEMBER 8
Non-demanding loop hike linking the parishes of Church of St. Peter in Nozzano, Church of St. Frediano in Compignano, Parish Church of St. John the Baptist in Arliano and Castle of Nozzano.
The complete stage is 10 km.

Sunday 19th of November – Anello di Meati (Meati's ring)
Non-demanding loop hike with a trek in the woods of Mount Pisano from the Church of St. Michael the Archangel in Meati to the Church of St. Andrew the Apostle in Gattaiola, through Castello Passerino and the Church of St. Stephen the Protomartyr in Pozzuolo.
The complete stage is 11 km.

Sunday 26th of november – Anello di Santa Maria del Giudice Santa Maria del Giudice's ring)
Non-demanding loop hike that in less than 5 km encompasses three pearls of Romanesque architecture in Lucca: the Pieve di San Giovanni Battista (Pieve Vecchia), Church of Santa Maria Assunta (Pieve Nuova) and the Hermitage of San Giorgio della Spelonca.

Sunday 3dt december – Anello di Brancoli (Brancoli's ring)
A loop hike that winds its way along the paths of the Brancoleria, through vineyards and gardens of villas and farmhouses where you can admire the taste and grace of the Lucchese countryside until you reach the Pieve di San Giorgio in Brancoli.

Sunday 10th dicember – Anello di Piazzano (Piazzano's ring)
Non-demanding loop hike that starts from the village of Piazzano, crossed by the Via Francigena, and then continues along a route that leads to three churches from the Romanesque period: Church of San Frediano Vescovo in Piazzano, Pieve di San Macario, Church of Santissima Annunziata in Vecoli.

The excursions are in Italian and participation is free of charge.
Reservation is required.
Groups of max. 15 participants.
Each excursion lasts approximately 8 hours
Packed lunch provided by participants.
In case of bad weather the excursion will be postponed.
