CarnevalMarlia is back in full swing. Six giant "papier-mâché" floats on which all the children can climb, will fill for five Sundays the Piazza del Mercato and part of Via Paolinelli in Marlia with joy, colours and music.

The Marillone float - the clown symbol of the event - opens the parade with an animator to let the children play. There are also those of the districts Ponticello - Selvette, La Fraga, San Donnino, Santa Caterina and the smaller cart of the schools "Don Aldo Mei" of the Plain of Lucca.

Every Sunday various masquerades of local groups will accompany the floats.

Sunday 1st March
2:30 pm - Piazza del Mercato / Via Paolinelli - Marlia | 5th masked course, with parade of floats, masquerades.
Animation with baby make-up, sculptures of balloons and giant soap bubbles with Galaxy Animation
Participation of the Band "A. Catalani" of Marlia
Gifts for children, food stands and charity fair.
