CarnevalMarlia is back in full swing. Six giant "papier-mâché" floats on which all the children can climb, will fill for five Sundays the Piazza del Mercato and part of Via Paolinelli in Marlia with joy, colours and music.

The Marillone float - the clown symbol of the event - opens the parade with an animator to let the children play. There are also those of the districts Ponticello - Selvette, La Fraga, San Donnino, Santa Caterina and the smaller cart of the schools "Don Aldo Mei" of the Plain of Lucca.

Every Sunday various masquerades of local groups will accompany the floats.

Sunday, February 9th
2:30 pm - Piazza del Mercato / Via Paolinelli - Marlia | 2nd masked parade, with parade of floats, masquerades.
Musical entertainment on stage and fun for children with baby makeup, balloon sculptures and giant soap bubbles with Galaxy Animation
Bubble Wizard with 2 dinosaurs "Carnosaur cubs" that will walk among the people and will be ridden by taming riders
Presence of the masquerade of Don Aldo Mei Schools - Gifts for the children, food stands and charity fair.
