On Saturday 23 April for the opening concert of the recently restored historic organ of the Santa Caterina church in Lucca.

One of the most significant examples of a typically Lucca baroque building, built in 1575 and transformed in 1738 by Francesco Pini, a disciple of Filippo Juvarra. Known as the church of the cigar makers due to the presence of the workers of the nearby Tobacco Factory, where the famous cigars were made by hand.

Lucca Summer Festival is confirmed as one of the great summer events in Tuscany.

A month in the company of internationally renowned artists and a passionate audience of all ages are the ingredients of this event with great music and entertainment for the summer nights in Lucca.

6th edition of Lucca Bimbi in the prestigious setting of the Real Collegio in Lucca. A big party dedicated to children (2 to 12 years) and families with play areas, creative workshops, shows, fairy tales and entertainment.

Two days of joy and fun for the little ones, who can free their imagination and become the protagonists of a fantasy world, but also their parents will enjoy pure fun together in exciting family activities.

 

V edizione di MusicArt - Promenade fra Musica e Colori, a music and culture festival organized by the Brunier Laboratory association, with art exhibitions accompanied by concerts of different musical genres and styles, in the Casermetta Santa Croce on the City Walls of Lucca.

From April 16 to May 8 the exhibition Viaggi nell'Infinito can be visited, curated by Michele Lovi.

 

From 9 to 25 April the traditional Easter market in Piazza Napoleone, the largest and most welcoming square in the historic center of Lucca.

Stands and stalls with a great choice of interesting items to buy: soft cashmere garments, knitwear, colorful caftans, leather bags worked by local artisans, costume jewelery and cotton accessories with unique textures and designs.

 

 

 

 

9th edition of the Lucca Blues Festival, the long-awaited music event dedicated to blues, with international musicians and singers from all over the world at the Foro Boario.
