On the occasion of the celebration of the 73rd Anniversary of the Fondazione della Repubblica, the doors of the great architectural complex and the prestigious monumental halls of the Ducal Palace of Lucca are opened.

The itinerary of the visits is that which includes the District of Parata and the Palazzina del Nottolini: from the royal staircase to the Sala degli Staffieri, then the Loggia dell'Ammannati, the majestic Ademollo room (or delle Guardie) frescoed by the Milanese painter Luigi Ademollo , the Throne room and the Academy I and II rooms and the Prefecture halls, exceptionally open for the occasion: the Statues Gallery, the Wood Hall, the Temple of Bacchus, the Transit Gallery, the Zephyr and Flora Room , the Halls of Day and Night and the Hall of Pallas.

From 16:00 to 19:00 the extraordinary opening of the Museum of the Risorgimento and of the Museum of the history of Italian emigration P. Cresci, as well as that of the Napoleonic Olfactory Route The nose and history set up on the noble floor of the Palazzo Ducale is scheduled.

At 16:00 and at 17:30 there are two guided visits to the monumental halls of Palazzo Ducale and to the Teatro del Profumo. The meeting is in Cortile degli Svizzeri under the loggia in front of the Regia scale of the Prefecture.
