Lucca Art Fair is an important annual event of meetings, entertainment, exchange of experiences and knowledge that aims to develop a professional and amateur network essential for the correct growth of the contemporary art system.

Through the participation of recognized partners, a very high selection of galleries by the organizing committee, and a series of services available to visitors, Lucca Art Fair stages the unexpected of the art world, creating an unmissable event in Lucca and in a Tuscany that is now becoming the true Italian cultural laboratory.
Forty contemporary realities divided into four main sections. Dozens of realities in the contemporary art world are the protagonists of Lucca Art Fair including some international presences for four exhibition sections: a Main Section, a Temporary Art Zone with an experimental flavor, an Overcoming Project area dedicated to independent spaces and also a space dedicated to publishing.

The main section, consisting of established galleries on the international scene, offers collectors a selection of works including modern, post-war and contemporary art.

The temporary art zone, reserved for projects only shows with an experimental profile.

The critical readings, edited by Francesca Baboni, put the spotlight on a selection of galleries proposing exhibition projects of transgenerational artists in dialogue with each other while art tracker, curated by Gabriele Tosi, aims to enhance talents under 35.

At the usual location within the trade fair pavilion is the Casermetta San Frediano, a typical architecture that stands on the walkway of the walls of Lucca and therefore ideally between the historic city and its surroundings.

Under the title Vissi d’Arte, talks dedicated to in-depth studies on the world of art are renewed, with particular attention to the artist's archives. Through brief interviews, artists and professionals of the sector will share their experience and their professional skills with the public.
