The crossbowmen of the Contrade San Paolino association return to the Montecarlo fortress.

Within the gardens of the Rocca del Cerruglio, the second edition of the Palio dei Balistarii of the Republic of Lucca will see the crossbowmen of the association divided into two parts: Falcone, Granchio, Luna and Sirena. The best shooter will win the victory and the Palio will be awarded to the related district.

The event is attended by Balestrieri, drummers and figures from Contrade San Paolino di Lucca; The Falconers of Mother Earth of Fivizzano, with its fascinating birds of prey; Casteldurante Historical Group of San Ginese di Compito;
there will also be food stands with Hippocrasso craft, medieval sweets, savory pies and desserts, curated by M&T culinary cultural association of Lucca.
